Martin Gray, lead fund manager of the Special Situations and Strategic Portfolios with Miton Asset Management, has been managing portfolios for more than twenty years and consequently has experience looking after investors’ assets across all market cycles.
Martin began his investment career with PBR Fund Management in 1979. He then set up the investment department at Roxborough FS plc in 1987. After that he joined Miton Investments as a director in 1994, which recently merged with Midas Capital.
December 1996 saw the launch of the CF Miton Strategic Growth fund, which is the top fund in its sector since launch and won the 2004 Multi-Manager Award. Martin is ranked in the Hot 100 List of all UK Fund Managers (Professional Adviser, 22 April 2006). Midas Capital and MitonOptimal won the Asset Allocator of the Year Award, along with the Lipper Global Mixed Asset Aggressive & Balanced Awards for 3-Year Risk Adjusted Performance 2006 and 2007. More recently in February 2008, Martin was ranked 2nd in the Sunday Telegraph’s ‘Top 12 Fund Titans’.
